Been going out almost everyday recently, on friday a bunch of frens surprised me at my place for a farewell dinner. Thanks everyone. Appreciated the effort. =)

Today went for sws youth concert, nice hall. After which supper at newton... ordered alot of food, since it'll be some that i get to taste such nice stuff...

Just finished watching 2 movies on Star Movies (free preview)... Meet Joe Black and a story about this sniper...

Another thing... the guys are going NS soon and the gals will be making plans to study or work rite? Seems like there's not much time left for us to see each other already... esp since Dennis and Chris (NoOoooOo) are going in in June... Thinking of a class gathering... doesn't have to be anything elaborate lar. Just as long as most of the ppl of our class turns up (judging by previous experience i know it's impossible -_-") So any ideas go where? The main point is that most of the class will turn up for the gathering la... rather than the content of the gathering...

Last day of internship already! Well, for those who are reading this now or at work, at least it's the last day la. For those whu are reading after work, congrats for having finished internship in one piece (i hope) =D For those who have extended the stay then... good luck la haf fun =)
Guys! Going to NS soon liao, another journey and another step in life. Though as sianzz as it may be la =( Seems like we wont be seeing each other much liao (when the guys enter NS dat is...)
And what are we doing on Monday after getting back the portfolio and stuff? Well, judging from the class and previous exp, there won't be any plans de la and everybody will juz go their own way. *shrugs* Oh well.
On a final note, does anyone know Hasan Jafri... Hah...

Oops, almost forgot to mention this until i saw Kwok Hao's announcements reminder. Hahah! As you all might know, Miss Peters and Miss Low met their IP students on Saturday as a second meeting lah! So since the only 05ppl at Miss Low's table was Me, Cheryl and Azzah, i guess i should take initiative and announce the announcement!

Okay, so on the 18th April, Miss Low wants us to go back between 9am to 10am to get our portfolio back. Yep, for her IP students, it's to hand up the logbook as well la. So my suggestion is to hand up logbook to respective LO and get portfolio back at the same time. Save time what. Then after that can go do something... Maybe go beach, movie, lunch blah blah blah! Celebrate End of IP!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well... seems like nobody's been blogging anymore. At least not here la. But some important reminders for u folks!

11th April - Fax/hand in the questionnaire that your LO has given to u.
15th April - End of internship! But i guess there's not much use in saying this coz everyone knows the date all too well already =)
18th April - Deadline for handing in logbook! Remember ah folks... if u dun hand in u cant graduate... And remember to fill in everything in the logbook... the attendance, organisation chart, checklist etc.
22th April - Post-itp briefing... Probably the second last time we must go to school. (The last being the graduating ceremony). And if possible another class outing/dinner.

Well... after this the gals will work/furthur studies, the guys will go into NS so... guess we won't be seeing ya'll anymore..... Ah well this is kwok signing off~

Wah... anybody's LO haven come visit them yet? Aiya ms peters haven come see mi... But seems like she's busy with the JAE and stuff. Oh well. Can't wait to see her =D
Anyway remembered something that happened in the 1st or 2nd week of work. Printed out something and there was a box printed on the paper lar. There were supposed to be words inside the box but it wasn't printed out. So my supervisor told mi to use the typewriter to type the words in the box.
Went into the room and then started typing. But for some reason the words din come out when i typed. So i umm... pressed every key of the typewriter hoping to change the functions of the typewriter or something coz i tot the typewriter mite haf different modes or something. After pressing every key, the words still din come out leh! Typed until sianzz also nuttin happen. Even though i could see the letters being typed on the ink ribbon. Maybe the ink ribbon was spoilt liao? Sianzz was stuck and thinking of asking someone for help when my supervisor came in and said,
"Oh you haven put in the paper yet."

Anyway... when i first started the internship at mi firm, i heard from the colleagues that i was onli the second male intern there. Waahah. And then they said that the boss actualli wanted a female intern one (bcoz she thinks females are more meticulous...) but there (apparently) wasn't any female interns left so they juz had to settle for mi.
Well it's like after your mom gave birth to u and then she said that actualli she wanted a female de -_-" Aahha but nvm la will do my best in ze job so as not to let the ppl down... =D

I miss school..!

Been so busy at work for the past 2 weeks..
doing shit work n have to work OT too..
and everyone keeps asking me if got OT pay
I doubt there will be...
the only consolation is my $50 ang pao from boss

Just had an event on fri nite..
stretched thru the entire night till 2+
heng I gave excuse and left with Ter they all..haha..
Din bloody eat the whole day..
was so busy settling all the stuff..

Now i know events are rather stressful n tiring..
but i got to meet alot of ppl

been going outdoor shooting for two days already.
and shot some banks and finance buildings around Shenton Way/Raffles Place.
pretty nice..
gain some experience man.
and i learnt that a cameraman.. must always be cautious at all times. ;p

i think i have already adapted to my work.

Wah lao!!! Today was damn suay sia! Suppose to go to Grand Con-whatever hotel for press briefing. Walk here walk there, kenna lost plus colleague giving me directions was mistaken about where i was. *Bang head*

Then press briefing kenna sai want, only 3 THREE journalist there. *Pengz*

Plus company having D&D on friday, but it is a lunch this year. Cos i am intern, so cannot go la, they kinda feel bad, want me to take whole day off. I, being Tan Runjian, blindly followed the rules and email miss low whether it was alright anot, cos the rest of the employee is working 1/2 day.

She said no, my editor "da bao bu ping", going to email her. Hope no nuclear warfare ensures. Sigh. Plus, the other 2 writers on the team only have to come in on 2 days a week. So jealous. Just now jack, the writer with me at the press conference went off after we had lunch, and now i am back at office doing database clearing still. Kaoz~

Counting down to the end of internship? Left abt 9 weeks le! Bu zhi bu jie (unknowingly), 3 weeks have already passed by in a flash. For all those who are dreading internship and hoping for it to end, it will end soon de la. For now it may seem a slow and long period of torture but when internship ends and you look back, you'll find that internship seemed to have passed by so fast...

wah shit shit shit lao sai lao sai lao sai -_-" What turned out to be an interesting day juz become even more interesting...
Was supposed to do some media tracking then my supervisor assigned me to do some media tracking... and the job was to listen to the radio then record down whenever the news mentioned the client...
Soooo... i took the radio and a tape to another room to record, so that i wouldn't disturb other colleagues mah. Went quite well at first but after dat... became sleepy liao... so i rested my head on the table (but was still listening to the radio la).
After a while though... i fell asleep! Then during the time i was asleep, somebody came and wanted to take something which i was holding on to. But since i was asleep, i couldn't pass the stuff to her. It turns out that my colleagues called and sms-ed me but... my phone was kept to silent mode la sorrie...
Soo... after half an hr of sleeping i woke up and... suddenly i found 3 colleagues standing around mi -_-" I was sitting while they were standing... One of mi colleague asked whether i was alright and said that they were considering calling 995 coz they couldn't wake me up and they thought i was in a coma -_-"
The worst thing is that when my supervisor came back, she said that she knew what had happened and that "wo gen zhou gong you yue hui ah...". And she was nice abt it also lor... saying that i looked very tired and to go home and rest (it was after 6pm le)...
Haizz... such nice ppl... makes me more determined to work hard and not to let them down! Yeah!

wheeeeee how's internship? should be picking up for everyone i hope. Today i fulfilled my dream of attachment. You know the urban legend that stereotypically, interns are used for sai gang work? Yes, today i did it! Carry computers around! The tech guy asked me to help him shift the network, said 'we' were to move all the iMacs from one room to the next, then disappeared! So i 'helped' him!

Whew... Internship has been improving sia... Realli learning a lot by the day and the ppl there are quite nice and friendly too. Not to mention that they are also patient ppl whu will patiently teach u things and guide u along. Realli a conducive environment for learning but... not for slacking though O_O
Anyway todae went Conrad Hotel to eat! To be exact, it's a media lunch la. Dat means... u haf lunch with the media o_O Was first assignened to do media registration and then... later adjourned to have a six course lunch! Yay! And the lunch was $80++ lor... although for mi it's free de... Courses included shark's fin and ginseng chicken =D and ppl eating included moses lim and sylvia toh paik choo....
One thing that stood out though... was that im too quiet le! There was an editor of a food magazine mah... then she commented that i was pretty quiet. Wat was my reply? Well i said that i became shy upon seeing pretty gals... It's a pretti good excuse to draw away attention from yourself and to distract them but... can't use dat reason veri often bcoz... wat if the media ppl are all guys -_-" Then i can't say that i become shy upon seeing handsome guys... or can i? *ponders* =p

haha, okie, hmm, didn't dare to blog in office, cos then will have the address history there... then if one day they go see, then so paiseh... I don't think will scold me or anything lah... cos I love them... wahaha... anyway, other than a bit bored sometimes... cos now is low peak period... it's quite fun... haven't been able to really learn much yet... but good exposure and practice for some of my tasks...

yeah.... tingting here again after a long long time... haiz... last week very busy busy ah... kana scolded on fri... sad... anyway today's chen yu yun and lin ming lun's daughter's first month old haha.... they send cakes over and i ate alot... haha... went to 4 events on fri... like dying coz too tired... u know mi stressed until cannot sleep then headache.... there's so much to learn.... and everyday i'm doing different things.... including being a delivery person.... opps... m i not supposed to say it??? hehe... but till now things are fine.... i'm learning as much as possible... oh ya... forgot to tell u all something... u know i don't have a seat to myself nor a computer??? haha... that's y can only blog at home and not during office hours... haha.... and my office the air con free one... everyday everyone will wear at least 3 pieces of clothings... haha.... mm... ppl don worry la.... things will get better. in the meantime those who don have wprk enjoy getting the money first lor.... those who have lots of work then enjoy learning lor.... mi gonna go do my porkfolio le... so porky.... haha.... no time no time...

Anyway a colleague celebrated her bdae today (actualli was belated de) and we had (lotsa) squids and cake to eat =p it was from then that i realised... they were actualli quite frendly de =D
When they asked how old i was, i replied 19 and they... umm... groaned? Coz they said they were so old already and i was so young... Mi yOuNg !?!?! Wah liew i feel old lor. Esp when i see those little kids and sec sch ppl i feel old liao leh and they still say i yOuNg O_o
The when they asked me to eat one piece of the curry puff the conversation went:

Me: no need la, it looks so oily lidat, eat already become fat
Colleagues: *laughs*
Colleague: Now u still young no need to worry abt things lidat. You later then worry *Mi yOuNg meh!?*

sian, I had to move from a PC to a MAC and then tmr back to PC... all my fonts on my work assignment are getting funny :'(

Supposed to kind of finish all by tmr... but erm, hmm, after doing the assignment, I was like puke blood first, cannot make it, then do and do and do...

wanted to stay longer, but like everyone else going off le, then didn't dare to stay all the way, later no one there, then I get to camp in the office...

But... should be manageable... hopefully it can look nice tmr... hmm..
